We were commissioned to design a full renovation of the existing library which was suffering from lack of views, poor wayfinding, underutilized space, and clutter.
We envisioned a curved wall of glass to give the main entrance to the school a focal point as well as "bubble" windows at varying heights, acknowledging the various heights of students in the awkward years that make up middle school.
New zones are created with bold color accents for reading areas, display areas, and media areas.
