Mount Rushmore Presidential Trail

The nearly mile long trail includes four interpretive terraces for the four presidents on the mountain, 422 stairs, and is partially ADA accessible. The trail was built around the landscape, trees, and rocks to maintain the outdoor feel and respect the wildlife and natural habitat. This project was designed by Brad Ciavarella while with another firm.
